'The Kaposvar Tancsics Secondary School came to Bath in July with 40 young people and three teachers led by Kelemenne Gerbovits Szilvia, the school's English teacher. They were able to see the Roman Baths and the Museum of Costume as well as many other sights in the City. They also travelled to Stonehenge, Oxford and London that gave them first hand experience of life in England and many opportunities to practise their already advanced language skills. In Bath they also had a chance to meet the Mayor of Bath and had a very enjoyable and light hearted reception in the Mayor's Parlour. They of course had fun during their stay.
The Twinning Association was able to assist with transport. Teachers from Tancsics and Bath Culverhay Schools have been in contact and it is hoped this may lead eventually to an EU grant aided exchange between the two schools'.
