The BKTA held a second successful tasting of Hungarian wines on 9th July at the Bath Society Green Park Bath.

They were presented by Lajos Mayer from Hungary who since 2004 has lived with his family in Cheltenham.

Five wines from the beautiful Eger region had been selected by Lajos for the evening; three white and two red.

Twenty two BKTA members and guests were able to sample white Szeremley Badacsony Rizling; Degenfeld Eger Hárslevelu; St. Andrea Eger Nap Bor and red St. Andrea Eger Kutyafáját and Heimann, Kékfrankos.

The event was one of the BKTA and Bath Phil series of fund raising initiatives in support of the Soundbeam technology project for the people of Kaposvár to acquire. The equipment enables mixed group of special needs students and others to participate in the creation and playing of music.
