Welcome to Bath Kaposvar Twinning Association
I welcome you to the website of the Bath Kaposvar Twinning Association known to members and supporters as the BKTA for
short.

It is great that you wish to explore how the cities of Bath in England and Kaposvar in Hungary resolved to twin in 1989 and share their life experiences, have fun and to create social and City to City links.

Chairman

The BKTA is run by its members who use their diversity of skills, interests and sheer enthusiasm to engage across all ages with each other.

Our aim is to develop human, cultural and sporting relations that will create a firm foundation for the continuing understanding, respect and friendship between the people of Bath and the people of Kaposvar.

As you delve into the site you will find two cities who welcome each others company and get on with life today, while acquiring a taste for the unexpected.

I hope it will encourage you to look at Hungary, a country in central Europe that is rich in history, personalities and human warmth.

Best wishes
Peter Metcalfe
